Rhianna Rice

At the age of six, Rhianna began dancing under the instruction of Libby Dyer Lee with the Dyer School of Highland Dance. She currently performs professionally with Heartland Highland Dance. She has performed and competed throughout the United States. 
In 2012, Rhianna was a finalist for the Southwest Region and competed at the United States Inter-Regional Championship in Baltimore, MD. She earned top marks on both her Associate (2012) and Member's exam (2019) from the British Association of Teachers of Dancing. 

Rhianna has also served in executive roles in the Kansas City St. Andrew Highland Dance Association and in the Kansas City Saint Andrew Society.

Kristen Powell

Kristen has been dancing since the age of four. She is Rhianna's sister and also dances under the instruction of Libby Dyer Lee at the Dyer School of Highland Dance. 
She has also received top marks on both her Associate and Member's exams from the British Association of Teachers of Dancing and assists Rhianna at Step Spring Leap.

She has competed and performed throughout the United States individually and professionally with Heartland Highland Dance. 

One of her best qualities is her Highland theory retention. She is the best study partner for dance exams. 
Kristen excels in teaching the Irish Jig and loves to help dancers of all ages improve their technique!

Kristen has also served in executive roles in the Kansas City St. Andrew Highland Dance Association.
